DOWNLOADING THE DIVINE An Ignatian Lenten guided retreat for young adults (ages 18 - 35) interested in seeking a relationship with Christ, desiring a deeper prayer life, looking for an experience of Christian community, or longing to know God's purpose in their life. Trio Concert Emmanuelle Bouffard (cello), Krystyna Higgins (piano) and Dianne Roxborough Brown (flute and piano), will be presenting a concert which will feature a variety of Classical music for various combinations of instruments. You will be treated to instrumental solos, a piano duet and trios for flute, cello and piano. Featured composers include Haydn, deFalla and Faure. The concert will take place on March 14 at 3PM at St. Dunstan's. A free-will offering will be taken. |

L'Arche meeting A second meeting which will continue to explore the possibilty of starting a L'Arche community for the intellectually disabled in Fredericton will be held on Sunday March 7th 6:30-8:00pm in room 123 of the Monsignor Boyd Family Centre at St Dunstan's. Once again, we invite parishioners to make a donation in memory of loved ones, to help make our church beautiful for Easter. Please write “flowers” on the front of your regular envelope and then write the name(s) of your loved one(s) on the back... or place a special envelope in the offering. Easter Flowers will adorn the church and a special display listing all those being remembered will be placed at the front of the church for us all to pray for your loved ones. |
THE MADELON ROLSTON MORAN SCHOLARSHIP A scholarship in the amount of $300 is being offered to a female student who is pursuing studies in a BUSINESS PROGRAM. The student must be a resident of the amalgamated CITY OF FREDERICTON. Applications are available at the MBFC office, Fredericton High School, Leo Hayes High School and École Ste. Anne. The application deadline is March 26, 2010. |

SAINT JOHN DIOCESAN COUNCIL CWL STUDENT BURSARY Two Bursaries in the amount of $300 are being offered to students entering University, Community College, Business College, Technical School or School of Nursing. Applications are available at the MBFC office. These Bursaries are also available to a mature student (a student who has been out of school or one year or more). The application deadline is MARCH 26, 2010. Applications are available in the CWL mail box in the parish office and can be submitted to an Education and Health Chairperson, CWL, or left at the parish office. |
